This is my first food post and I thought why not to start with the chocolates..This post is dedicated to my eternal love for chocolates. I am writing this post with the bowl of it in my hand.
I am already drooling over it... Ummmmm..
I assure that you would find this recipe the easiest of all. The reason being is that I'm a lazy soul and I live with the concept of easy cooking. So fret not.!
Lets get started.
INGREDIENTS :
Milk : 1.5 cups
Cocoa powder : 4 tbsp
Dark chocolate : 180 grams
Custard powder : 2 tbsp(optional)
Fresh cream : 100 grams
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp
Sugar : 2.5 tbsp
Butter : 2 tsp
Servings : 5 cups.
METHOD :
* Boil the milk and add in cocoa powder, custard powder and sugar. Keep stirring it continuously so as to avoid any lumps.
NOTE : If you are using custard powder, make a smooth paste of 2 tbsp milk and custard powder separately and then put it in the milk to avoid the lumps.
* As the mixture thickens up, keep it aside and let it cool.
* Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave and mix it with the already made milk cocoa mixture.
* Stir it and add in vanilla essence and fresh cream.
* Put the mixture in bowl and let it set in refrigerator for 2 hours.
* You can garnish it with chocolate flakes. Dark chocolate mousse is ready. happy dance :):)
This is a quick and fuss-free dessert. All the ingredients are well known to everybody. It does not take much of your time. So, you see, it is all in your favour. And above all, it tastes divine. I made it once, then twice and since then, I have been making it over and over again due to its never ending demand.
Once you make it, only then you'll understand my love for it.
Try it. You would not stop praising me for this dessert. :p
Thanks for reading.
Priya. :)
