DIY - CROCHET basket .!

Hello everyone,
I am back with my second post finallyy.!

Ok, so who else loves crochet ?? I simply love love love the pattern be it in clothes, shoes, bags, nail art and other stuff. Talking about a crochet nail art, I will be doing a tutorial on that soon so keep a watch.

So, coming back to the post, ever since I saw these adorable baskets on various blogs, I was in awe of them and had to make one. So, here I am sharing a quick and easy way to make these super cute baskets.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED :

A crochet cloth (according to the size of your bowl or boiler)
A boiler (You can also use a bowl for making small crochet bowls)
Adhesive (not the transparent glue, but the white glue like fevicol) OR fabric liquid stiffener.
Water
Spoon

DIRECTIONS :

Mix equal parts of white glue/fabric liquid stiffener and water together. The mixture should not be dripping and should be of medium consistency. If you find the mixture to be too runny, add another spoon of glue. Immerse the cloth in the liquid mixture fully. I would advice you to make this mixture in a big plate which is of the same length as your cloth so that you can be sure that whole of the cloth is soaked in the mixture. Let it soak in there for few seconds.
Now, take it out and place it evenly on the bottom of the boiler. Smooth it out from the edges.

Let it sit overnight.

Next morning, Take your spoon or knife and gently take out the basket out of the boiler without tampering with the shape of it. Be gentle, and it will be out it in no time.

Your little basket is ready to prettify your dining tables or dressing tables or anywhere you like.

I used mine to keep all my nail paints..:P.. You can use it as you like.

Try it and love it.

Priya. :)
