DIY- Paper butterflies.!

Hello everyone,

How are you all?
Its been more than an year since I left blogging due to some reasons.
But I am back again with super fun, easy and creative DIYs.

Ok. So, who all love butterflies?
I always adored these cute little flying creatures as a child. And As we grew up, we kept on forgetting about these little pieces of happiness and more complicated things crawled up in our lives.
Anyhow, Today, I am sharing an easy method to create these little species with you.
You can make them for your room decor, projects, kids parties, or any other way that you please.



So, lets get started:-

THINGS YOU'LL NEED :

•  Printed paper/Sheet of your choice. 
• Ruler
• Colored-pen
• Scissors
• Any ribbon/string

DIRECTIONS :

• Draw up a square and a circle on the paper with circle overlapping the square as is shown in the picture below. Cut out the shape.

             

• Your cut-out should look like this.

• Start pleating the layout from the cornered square as is shown.

• Tie the shape in the middle with string or ribbon. Don't cut the remaining strand of string. That will work as an antennae of the butterfly.

• Spread out the folds to create the wings.

Tada.! Our butterflies are ready to fly..:)

I would like to add that try to make the circle and square of almost equal length. And also, As neat and fine your pleats would be, as beautiful it would look as a butterfly.
